Experienced Project TeamsProviding Excellent Program Management Each assessment program or project managed by Pearson is delivered by a dedicated project team. Overseeing the activities of the team is an experienced program manager, who is responsible for meeting the needs of the customer. Pearson program managers seek to achieve certification of project management and quality processes, including the Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification. Project Management Institute (PMI) guidelines are an international body of knowledge that provides a consistent framework for management of programs and projects. The day-to-day activities of the team are led by a project manager, who serves as the customer's primary point of contact in addition to the program manager. The project manager works diligently to provide deliverables on schedule and according to program specifications. Team Members Each program team is comprised of core team member, representing the key functions of the program. In order to manage the item delivery and test construction, a member of the Content Support Services supports each program. The program team includes experienced technology staff, which provides technology and data processing systems and deliverables, including scanning and scoring programs, score reports, and data files. The team also includes expertise in performance scoring, represented by a performance scoring director. In order to manage the operational processes (scanning, editing, etc.) the team includes a production control representative. Customer Relationships The program manager is the customer voice to the Pearson organization. Our commitment to quality requires a strong interdependent relationship with our customers. We approach each project as a relationship with our customer, and each customer as an important component of the project team.
