PASeries®

PASeries® (Progress Assessment Series™) has been built from the ground up to provide scientifically valid, reliable formative assessments. PASeries Reading and PASeries Mathematics measure progress throughout the school year and forecast growth toward state-specific performance standards, helping educators in grades three through eight connect classroom instruction to results while simultaneously helping districts and states meet the requirements of education reform.

Perspective™

Perspective™ from Pearson provides a roadmap to student improvement through enhanced assessment reports that lead to specific resources for remediation and enrichment. Perspective features a friendly, easy-to-understand overview of a student’s performance on assessments for teachers and families tied to deeper and broader Web reports and resources that align to state-specific standards. Class reports detailing all of the students entering a teacher’s class allow educators to prepare with advance knowledge of past performance. Perspective helps families understand how students are doing, helps educators prepare for their classes, and details what both can do to help each student succeed.

EDWARD™

EDWARD™ is a statewide assessment-based education data management and reporting system that brings assessment, reporting, analysis, and data management together to move education forward for the entire state community. Created for the unique requirements of education, this integrated solution comprises both the technical and user interface capabilities needed for efficient data analysis. EDWARD's Loader provides secure and automated tools for receiving, validating, and loading student and assessment data into the Repository, where data is consolidated into one standardized, integrated, and official record. Reporter gives authorized users the ability to access, generate, and extract pre-defined or parameter-driven reports, while the Analyzer gives trained users access to data mining tools for advanced analyses and research. By making immense volumes of data securely accessible, EDWARD enables stakeholders at all levels to make informed, data-driven decisions, and meet state and federal reporting requirements.
